Welcome

We are happy to welcome you to our website and hope the information provided will be helpful. If you have never visited the Cathedral or participated at one of our liturgical celebrations, we invite you to visit and attend mass. The Cathedral is the spiritual home to some 900 families as well as being the Roman Catholic Cathedral for the Archdiocese of Winnipeg. Throughout its long history, the Cathedral Community has welcomed newcomers to Canada and Winnipeg and has sown the seeds of faith in the lives of thousands of Catholic Christians. As we celebrate our faith we are thankful to God for the many blessings the Lord has bestowed on us! Again, welcome and may the Lord bless you.

Forgiven
"Peace, be with you, my peace, I give you..."
Throughout the Easter season, the Gospel highlights the ressurection appearances of Jesus who offers us the great gift of peace.  That gift of peace, which, the world cannot give, manifests itself in ways that profoundly touch our lives, bringing restoration and healing.  Forgiveness is often one of the most difficult and challenging things that we have to experience.  When a tremendous hurt has come about and the pain is almost too great to carry, forgiveness can almost seem impossible.  However, the ministry of Jesus - the Prince of Peace - reminds us that forgiveness is an important part of every human relationship.

Come and join a three part series on Forgiveness.  This series, through video presentation and personal stories provide a wonderful opportunity to learn about the power of forgiveness and the true gift of peace.
  • Session 1: Sunday, May 21st - Where are you?

  • Session 3: To be announced  - Reconciliation
